This 95-hour course continues from Medical Surgical I with focuses on health management, promotion of wellness, holistic care for the individual within a cultural framework, and disorders and diseases of patients with sensory, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, urinary, endocrine, reproductive, and integumentary systems. This course instructs the student in their role in advanced nursing skills and nursing care in more complex situations. Supervised clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing and care of patients with a variety of diseases and disorders will be provided.
